For more than a hundred years De Kuip, football club Feyenoord’s stadium, has been celebrated as the centre of a working class district in South Rotterdam. Now, just a few hundred metres from this stadium, the largest mosque in Europe is being built. Circling around the mosque under construction, this documentary shows the microcosm around it: a number of very different people leading completely separate lives while living next to each other, each with their own opinions and discussions on the meaning of this mega-mosque.
